Sig Arm

Lately I keep hearing lots BS that Sig have been done on their market decision. And I'm really start to grow tire of Sig. Sure it made great firearms, no doubt one of best manufactures out there. But from March 2009, the upper management of Sig Arms decide to ship all their civilians gun with only one magazine instead of standard two magazines. The reason was due to they can't keep up with the demand of manufacturing two mags per gun. Funny thing, an pure BS, Sig have been out source their mag for Mec Gar for years and Mec Gar still bumping out their Sig mags (without the Sig logo on them for around 50% of retail price) none stop. This decision almost get Sig crucified for a while. Than at June, Sig announce that they will start shipping two mags per package of their civilian pistol line. It seems like they felt the pressure from their angry customers. BUT, and that is a big but, what happen for those customers that order their gun and end up getting packages that shipped during March and June? According the online gun forum, Sig buyers that receive one mag in their package and complain to Sig's CS, they received answer like "according to our data base, your pistol in shipped during our mag shortage, therefore you will only have ONE mag in your package. Thank you for shopping with Sig." WTF? there is no reimbursement, (I have to remind you, that Sig didn't lower their retail suggest price during those months, their mag is about $50 a piece from their web site), no gift card credit, nothing, just a big FUCK YOU by Sig.

Furthermore, their new P238 Two tone, which they have been promote for a while now just got on shelf not too long ago. And Sig buyers soon to realize something wrong with the gun they getting... it come with black plastic grip instead of aluminum as pictured and list on Sig web sit. It turns out, it's another Sig's upper management decision that to ship plastic grip instead of aluminum to cut cost. I'm not sure if this issue has been resolved, the thread still going on (now I just need to find that thread again).

Any way, judging the few newer Sig that I saw on shelf these days, there are no current production Sig that I'm interesting invest my money in. I'm happy with the W. German pre rail 226 of mine.
